Research overview

Also called modified GRF (1-29), this is a 29-residue analogue of growth hormone–releasing hormone carrying four substitutions (D-Ala², Gln⁸, Ala¹⁵ and Leu²⁷) that improve resistance to enzymatic degradation and oxidation compared with the native GHRH(1-29) fragment.

This version does not include the drug affinity complex (DAC), the maleimide linker that lets CJC-1295 bind serum albumin. It is used to study GHRH-receptor signalling in the pituitary.
