Research Use Policy
Our products are for in-vitro laboratory research only. Here’s what that means for every order.
Last updated October 15, 2026
RoyalPep supplies peptides and related materials exclusively for in-vitro laboratory research. This policy explains what that means and what we expect of everyone who buys from us. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.
What “research use only” means
Research use only (RUO) products are intended for laboratory experiments, such as cell culture, biochemical assays and analytical method development. They are not manufactured, tested or approved as drugs, supplements, cosmetics or medical devices, and they have not been evaluated for safety or effectiveness in people or animals.
Prohibited uses
You may not use, or allow anyone else to use, any product:
- in or on humans, including self-administration;
- in or on animals, outside a study approved by an institutional animal care committee;
- as a food, drug, supplement or cosmetic, or as an ingredient in one;
- for resale to anyone for any of the above.
Your responsibilities
- You are at least 21 years old.
- You or your institution are qualified to handle research chemicals safely.
- You comply with all laws that apply to buying, importing, possessing, using and disposing of these materials where you are.
- You confirm the research-use acknowledgement at checkout for every order.
Orders we decline
We cancel and refund orders where anything in the order, account details or communications suggests human or veterinary use, including order notes or messages asking about dosing, injection or personal use. We may ask for institutional or professional details before fulfilling an order, and may close accounts that breach this policy.
Information on this site
