Research overview
Kisspeptin-10 is the C-terminal decapeptide of kisspeptin, the product of the KISS1 gene, and a potent agonist of the KISS1 receptor (also called GPR54).
Kisspeptin signalling is a key upstream regulator of gonadotropin-releasing hormone (GnRH) neurons, and kisspeptin-10 is widely used as a research tool for studying the hypothalamic control of the reproductive axis.
